Job Title: Regular Colony Educational Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regular Colony Educational Assistant to join our team at Horizon School Division. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students in a Hutterite community setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, focusing on their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist with whole-class support, ensuring all students receive the help they need to succeed.
  • Support English Language Learners in their language acquisition journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the teacher and other service providers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions, and beliefs.
  • Have a positive attitude towards children, learning, and schools.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be willing to learn from and work with a team of service providers.
