Job Summary

Faster-Gas Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our sites and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train a team of cleaning staff to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our sites and facilities to ensure they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and maintenance projects.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repair work, and renovations.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for cleaning services and maintenance projects.
  • Receive Payment: Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs and maintain accurate records of payments received.
  • Assist Cleaners: Assist our cleaning staff in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for our cleaning staff to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
