About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Internist to join our team, someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. As an Internist at National Veterinary Associates, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating complex medical cases, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to develop treatment plans, and providing education to clients on pet health and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat complex medical cases using advanced diagnostic techniques and therapies
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide education to clients on pet health and wellness, including preventative care and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and client satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Residency training or board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating complex medical cases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
