We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Manreet Construction LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including preparing estimates, measuring and cutting materials, and building foundations and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on carpentry techniques
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a large workload and tight deadlines.
