Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with wine tastings and purchases, providing professional and courteous service
  • Conduct informative tours of the winery, including structured tastings for tour groups
  • Operate a point-of-sale system and perform opening and closing duties
  • Support special events and provide dinner service in formal and informal settings
  • Represent the winery at offsite events and promote our products
  • Stock and maintain wine and giftware inventory
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Smart Serve Certification
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Motivation to exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's success
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented
  • Retail experience is essential
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Previous serving experience is an asset
  • Fluency in French, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is considered an asset
  • Wine knowledge is an asset, but training is provided
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
