Role Summary

As a Senior Manager, Model Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of advanced risk models that support bank-wide decision making worth billions of dollars. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights. This role requires a strong understanding of statistics, programming languages, and big data platforms. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain advanced risk models that support bank-wide decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Lead the periodic monitoring, recalibration, and maintenance of models and analytic tools
- Identify, promote, and lead process improvements for model development, recalibration, monitoring, and daily operations

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field
- 5+ years of overall experience in analytic roles developing and using predictive, risk, and/or forecasting models
- Strong fundamental understanding of statistics
- Highly proficient in 1 or more analytical programming languages (Python, R, SAS, etc.), SQL (Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) and multiple environments (Unix & Windows)
- 1 or more years of experience with big data platforms / integration (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Avro)
