Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Location Operations Manager to join our team at Simplot Canada (II) Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the location team and driving business growth through effective management of operations, sales, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall operations of the location, including office, equipment, and warehouse maintenance, to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Develop and manage annual location budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage accounts receivable and participate in the development of annual sales budgets and forecasting.
  • Contribute to corporate strategic planning, ensuring a profitable location and driving business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate custom application and equipment, including field mapping, product loading, and scheduling equipment operators.
  • Oversee product ordering and inventory management to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in agriculture or agronomy, with a passion for helping farmers succeed.
  • Experience in sales is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical demands include lifting a minimum of 50 lbs and working in an indoor/outdoor setting with elevated work and fast-paced environment.
