About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at RepairUs Commercial Refrigeration Services Inc. as a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Start up and test refrigeration systems using specialized testing devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump systems.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, such as the Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various job sites.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working collaboratively as a team player.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the refrigeration industry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Language and Work Hours

We require our team members to be fluent in English and work 35 hours per week.
