Job Summary


Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Enhanced Care Program. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized occupational therapy services to clients, promoting functional independence and occupational performance.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct client assessments, develop service plans, and provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to clients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies to promote client participation and access to services.
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals on occupational performance, safe living environments, and adaptive equipment use.
  • Engage with clients and families to promote client-centered care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to ensure high-quality services.


Qualifications




  • Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
  • Two (2) years' recent related experience working in a community setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
