**Job Summary**

The Warehouse Technician I is primarily responsible for the safe operation of basic powered material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts, to facilitate product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment in our Brampton, ON warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on product safety, quality, and legality.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
  • Perform pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of all transactions and maintain quality control.
  • Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, using hand or equipment as needed.
  • Sort and build product to pallets, adhering to customer expectations.
  • Operate machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets.
  • Perform pre- and post-equipment checks.
  • Maintain accurate storage locations through daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment.
  • Meet all PPE and fall protection requirements.
  • Ability to work at extended heights.
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.

**Physical/Cognitive Requirements**

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull.
  • Must possess visual acuity, including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift/carry items less than 60 pounds.
