Job Summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary regional rehabilitation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing client-centered care to children and adult populations in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, long term care, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation services using a goal-oriented approach
  • Provide direct intervention, consultation, and public education and training
  • Participate in the education of other healthcare professionals
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent entry-level requirement
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook/Email
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Conditions of Employment:

  • Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Immunization as a condition of employment
  • Valid driver's license, all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance
