Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell products over established routes, promoting our products and services to customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, tracking vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment
