Bureau Veritas Canada seeks a highly skilled Analyst 1 to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As an Analyst 1, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of results, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing LIMS summary reports, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performing sample preparation and analysis, and identifying any non-routine samples that require special handling. You will also be required to prepare standards and reagents, monitor quantities, and ensure adequate supplies are available.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.40-$25.50 per hour, depending on experience. The salary is based on industry standards for laboratory professionals in Vancouver, BC. Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary school education (B.Sc. preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Solid knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures
