Job Title: Technical Software Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Software Development Manager to join our team at Alphawave Semi. As a Technical Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end release processes for software and firmware products related to semiconductor IP and ASIC development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define, manage, and execute the software release calendar, including major, minor, and patch releases.
* Work with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations) to plan the scope and schedule for each release.
* Ensure that all release plans meet both customer and business requirements.
* Lead the coordination of software builds and releases across multiple teams.
* Manage dependencies across teams to ensure that each component is ready for deployment.
* Facilitate regular meetings to track release readiness, addressing issues as they arise.
* Ensure proper documentation for each release, including release notes, installation procedures, and test reports.

Requirements:

* Understanding of software and firmware development processes.
* 5+ years of industry experience shipping software at large scale and high velocity.
* Hands-on experience using tools like Python, JavaScript, and other scripting languages for automation.
* Familiarity with semiconductor IP development and/or hardware-related software.
* Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or similar.
* Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
