We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team in one of our beautiful care facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and implementing care plans. They will also be responsible for supervising care staff and administering medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering medications and performing assessments.
  • Implement care plans and make recommendations for resident care.
  • Supervise care staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
