About the Role

This full-time Registered Nurse position is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to renal patient populations. Reporting directly to the Manager of Medical Services, you will be part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team that values collaboration and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care planning and delivery using the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
  • Collaborate and consult with Registered Practice Nurses when patients require additional support or have unexpected outcomes
  • Identify and address abnormal patient responses, taking appropriate action as needed
  • Simultaneously manage multiple nursing interventions while maintaining strong communication skills
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario or ability to become licensed within 3 months
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Recent experience in Medical Nursing, particularly with renal patient populations
  • Strong interprofessional and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or recent continuing education in Medical Nursing
  • Experience working with central venous lines
