Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and management of the store, including meeting sales and financial targets, controlling expenses, and ensuring excellent customer service and merchandising standards.
- Lead and manage a team of associates to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Ensure effective inventory management and loss prevention
- Recruit, train, and develop associates to meet business needs
- Manage store operations, including receiving and processing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment
- Collaborate with the district manager to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years of retail management experience
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Point of Sale (POS) experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
