MNP, a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Tax Controversy team. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in delivering customized tax strategies within a complex and dynamic regulatory framework.

With 6-7 years of tax controversy/litigation experience, you will leverage your expertise to assist clients with the prevention, management, and resolution of disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Quebec (RQ). Your knowledge of provincial and federal income tax, as well as proficiency in tax research, will be invaluable assets to the team.

As a senior member of the team, you will oversee and strategize in tax dispute files through their lifespan, provide representations to and negotiate with RQ and the CRA, and maintain strong internal and external client relationships. Your ability to demystify complex issues and ensure timely reporting will be essential in maintaining high standards of quality control.

To succeed in this role, you will require a CPA designation or degree in law (Member of the Bar), in-depth tax course completion, or a master's in tax. Additionally, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, including people management, relationship building, and proven ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (French and English) and have a strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles. If you are a results-driven professional with a passion for tax strategy and leadership, we encourage you to apply.
