- Bee Health and Safety: Monitor and maintain the health and safety of the honey bees, including the detection of bee diseases and pests, and the implementation of measures to prevent their spread.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of beekeepers and apiary staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Apiary Maintenance: Maintain the apiary and its equipment, including the repair and replacement of equipment as needed.
- Honey Harvesting: Oversee the honey harvesting process, ensuring that it is done in a safe and efficient manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of apiary operations, including bee health, honey production, and staff performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as apiculture, biology, or environmental science.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in apiary management or a related field.
