Strategic HR Manager for Outdoor Living Solutions

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Manager to join our team in Alberta, British Columbia. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruiting, employee training and development, employee relations, and talent management.
You will partner with local Management, Regional HR Director and Company President to drive both tactical and strategic HR initiatives across our manufacturing locations. Key responsibilities include:
- Onboarding new hires and ensuring they understand company policies and benefits
- S supporting local and national recruiting and succession programs
- Assisting leadership with employee performance reviews
- Training/Coaching - developing and stewarding regional training programs to ensure training standards are being met
- People Development - partnering with Managers, Regional HR Director and Company President on people development initiatives
- Employment Practices - ensuring effective and consistent compliance management processes and procedures are being met across all locations
- Organizational Effectiveness - driving HR Review process and ensuring consistent processes across all locations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business or Human Resources
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience; Experience in multi-site operations, including unionized operations, with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, proven organization and time management abilities

- Estimated salary range: $85,000 - $115,000 per annum
