Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Remediation and Reclamation Professional. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for leading the development, strategic planning, and successful execution of remediation and reclamation projects.

This role requires a deep understanding of contamination assessment, exposure control, and site-specific liability assessments. You will also be responsible for coordinating with regulatory bodies, including the BCER, Ministry of Environment, and federal agencies, to ensure compliance and achieve environmental closure.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement remediation and reclamation projects that meet client goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of remediation and reclamation projects
  • Manage Phase 2 / Stage 2 ESAs, Detailed Site Assessments, and Remediation and Reclamation applications
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and achieve environmental closure
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Agrology, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, Land Reclamation, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on site assessments, remediation, and reclamation within the oil, gas, or energy sectors
Benefits
  • Estimated salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
