Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with staff and clients to setup, manage, and report on environmental services
  • Assist with building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Take direction from and support senior staff to achieve project and business goals
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Contribute to projects with focus on data collection/processing, analysis/interpretation, reporting, and project management
  • Assist with and/or lead field assessments as required on oil and gas facilities on crown land

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary institution or college in the field of Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Sciences
  • 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience (in NE BC oil and gas preferred)
  • Membership, or eligibility for membership, in the BC College of Applied Biologists (preferred) or the BC Institute for Agrologists
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs
  • Current Safety Tickets (i.e., First Aid, H2S) preferred
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residency
