We are seeking a skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at TSN Nursing Zone and Staffing Solution. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a spokesperson for our organization, advising clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies, and assisting in the preparation of various marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, with experience in public relations, advertising, and event planning. You will be responsible for coordinating special publicity events and promotions, conducting public opinion and attitude surveys, and gathering and preparing communications material.

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, with a focus on creating a welcoming work environment for diverse groups, including persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, and Indigenous people. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as spokesperson for the organization
  • Advise clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, and other marketing materials
  • Coordinate special publicity events and promotions
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Gather and prepare communications material
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • Prepare and deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions

Requirements:

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years1 year to less than 2 years of experience in marketing and communicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skills
