WSP is seeking a skilled Land Development Project Engineer to join our team in Kingston. As a key member of our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team, you will be responsible for executing and reviewing various storm, water, and wastewater design tasks, including site servicing and feasibility studies, stormwater management, and grading design.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute and review storm, water, and wastewater design tasks, including site servicing and feasibility studies, stormwater management, and grading design
- Develop and implement technical designs, reports, and project management plans for municipal engineering and land development projects
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
- Contribute to business development and proposal responses, focusing on local projects within Kingston and surrounding areas
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent program
- 3+ years of experience working as an engineer in land development and municipal engineering
- Design knowledge of roads and highways, site servicing, grading, and drainage, including stormwater management
- Working knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario
- Sound knowledge of engineering standards, principles, practices, and techniques, including reference guidelines and design manuals
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
