Director of Software Development

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned leader to guide our software development teams and drive the delivery of high-quality software applications.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Software Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to our software development teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and leadership, with experience managing large-scale software projects and leading high-performing teams. You will be responsible for developing strategies and execution plans that align with our company goals, while also overseeing the development, release, and maintenance of our software applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the software development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve software development processes and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, and containerization.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
