G.G.S. Electrical Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical installation specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electrical installations, who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing underground wiring and cables, splicing and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults, and troubleshooting and isolating faults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Underground Wiring and Cables: The candidate will be responsible for installing underground wiring and cables, ensuring that they meet all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Splice and Connect Wires: The successful candidate will need to be able to splice and connect wires safely and efficiently, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Test and Measure Voltage, Loads, and Ground Faults: Regular testing and measurement of voltage, loads, and ground faults will be necessary to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning correctly.
  • Troubleshoot and Isolate Faults: The electrical installation specialist will be required to troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems, using diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and repair problems.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at various locations, including residential and commercial properties. They will be expected to work flexibly, including some overtime, to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical installations;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
