This is your chance to be involved in the design, assembly, painting/coating, and manufacturing of state-of-the-art armored vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform rebuild/retrofit tasks and general assembly duties.
- Clean vehicles and parts to ensure top-notch quality.
- Prepare vehicles for painting by scuffing surfaces, masking, and rust removal.
- Work with aluminum parts using air blasters, sand blasters, and rust inhibitors.
- Assemble composite parts with mechanical fasteners and demold them as needed.
- Utilize a vinyl cutter for custom masking and work with materials like fiberglass.
- Assist in a paint booth applying wet-spray coating on parts moving on a conveyor line.
- Assemble doors, ramps, and other specialized equipment, and install signage using stencils.
- Move racks of products for drying, cooling, or painting.
- Bend, twist, kneel, and lift up to 30-50 lbs.
- 1+ year hands-on experience in manufacturing, factory, construction, or a fast-paced mechanical environment.
- Availability to start on short notice.
- Flexibility to work all shifts: days, afternoons, and nights (shifts may change).
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident for at least 5 years due to Controlled Goods Program regulations.
- Clean criminal record and 2 personal references + 1 work reference who have lived in Canada for 5 years.
- Competitive hourly pay: $25.00/hour to start.
- Monday-Friday | Flexibility required for all shifts (days, afternoons, and nights).
- On a bus route for most shifts; taxi may be needed for early morning shifts.
- Future benefits if hired internally with our client.
