As a Program Financial Consultant at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, you will provide expert financial analysis and planning support to various hospital programs. This role integrates and interprets financial and clinical information to enable effective and efficient resource management. You will work closely with Directors, Managers, and Physicians in coordinating their annual operating budget, analyzing variances, and managing external reporting requirements.

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre serves the community of Simcoe County and provides highly specialized services, including but not limited to: Stroke, Cardiac, Oncology, Neonatal Intensive Care, Adult & Youth Mental Health, and has been designated as a Level III Trauma Centre. The Centre is undergoing significant growth, including a capital plan that will see the current North Campus double in size over the next ten years, while developing the new South Campus in Innisfil. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis of financial and statistical results, business cases, and budgets.
  • Trend and forecast program results.
  • Provide recommendations to program management, financial management, and senior leadership regarding the program based on analysis.
  • Communicate with program personnel and finance accounting personnel around results, and occasionally with vendors regarding invoices.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a university degree program (B.Comm, M.B.A. or equivalent) and/or professional designation program (CMA/CGA/CA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience in a healthcare organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
  • Sound organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Advanced data management and statistical analysis skills.
  • Commitment to the Centre's vision, mission, and values.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
