About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at My Pizza and Steak House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard
    • Restock food and beverage supplies as needed
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and sanitized
    • Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible manner
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Assist in the receipt and storage of food and beverage supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve kitchen goals
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
    • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
