Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

At IMP Group, we are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M2) to join our team in Mississauga. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that is transforming and growing to meet the demand of OEMs, business aviation customers, and airlines.
The successful candidate will be required to support maintenance activities and undertake aircraft maintenance on a number of aircraft based in Mississauga. Key responsibilities include ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with all Manufacturers and Company recommendations and regulations, communicating with Dispatch/Operations for flight information and changes, and evaluating Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters, and SILs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with all Manufacturers and Company recommendations and regulations;
- Communicate with Dispatch/Operations for flight information and changes;
- Evaluate Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters, and SILs;
- Preparation of quotes for future maintenance for review by Maintenance Production Manager;
- Daily inspections, pre-flight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures;
- Complete all work order entries in a timely fashion;
- Participate with scheduled heavy maintenance;
- Provide AOG support when required;
- Ensure that approved equipment and materials are utilized and a high standard of workmanship is maintained;
- Generate maintenance task cards in preparation for maintenance activities;
- Support the Maintenance Production Manager with administrative activities;
- Travel with aircraft if required;
- Participate in hangar activities such as aircraft movements, equipment maintenance, and facility maintenance (6S, Health and safety, etc.);
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Production Manager, Director of Maintenance, or other management.
Requirements:
- Minimum grade 12 and successful completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Technical training program;
- Will have completed all Transport Canada exams;
- Hold a valid AME license category M2 with 5 to 10 years experience;
- Be available to work shifts as needed during major projects;
- Sound troubleshooting skills;
- Computer skills to enable interrogation and downloading of information from aircraft and their engines utilizing a laptop PC;
- Previous experience in Corporate Aviation;
- Must possess a valid passport;
- Previous Endorsements will be considered an asset.
