We are seeking a skilled Thai Massage Therapist to join our team at Savanna Thai Massage. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Thai massage techniques and be able to apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body. You will also be responsible for explaining procedures, risks and benefits to clients, maintaining records of treatments given, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
  • Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
  • Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
  • Maintain records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body

Requirements:

  • Fascial stretch therapy (FST) Certification
  • Immunization records
  • Criminal record check
  • Manual dexterity
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods

Work Environment:

  • Private practice
  • Willing to relocate

Experience:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year

Language: English

Hours of Work: 30 to 44 hours per week
