Job Title: Engineering Sales Professional

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders, growing sales, and expanding market share in accordance with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and owners.
  • Maintain a presence in the engineering community to promote products and services.
  • Understand client needs and provide technical solutions to achieve satisfaction and design intent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and local codes and regulations, as well as market trends, to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a customer-first approach.
  • Continuously learn and grow, staying current with industry developments and software tools.
  • Build sustainable customer relationships and trust through open communication.
  • Cross-train on mechanical and air-side products to identify opportunities for other products.
  • Participate in industry events, such as ASHRAE meetings, and attend lunch and learn presentations.
  • Assist with planning and implementing new product introductions to the market.
  • Attend divisional and office meetings, as well as industry-related events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with excellent knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • University degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering specialization required.
  • Holding a Professional Engineer designation (PEng) is an asset.
  • Ability to read architectural and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, listening, and written presentation.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful with the ability to work under pressure unsupervised.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mind.
  • Strong work ethic guided by personal integrity and mutual respect.
