Job Opportunity: Municipal Water Project Manager

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Municipal Water Project Manager to join our infrastructure team in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management and delivery of preliminary and detailed design for municipal water and wastewater servicing projects
  • Managing, planning, organizing work with technical groups in the delivery of project deliverable requirements
  • Tracking, controlling, and reporting on project performance
  • Preparing and supervising engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans, and contract documents
  • Leading and assisting in the pursuit of new projects, including the development of technical scope workplans, schedule, project team organization, and task-level budgets
  • Building relationships with existing and potential clients, liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders, and contractors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia
  • 7-10 years of broad and extensive technical, administrative, and project experience within consulting companies, specifically in municipal water/wastewater systems
  • Strong water & wastewater technical background, including extensive knowledge of all project phases
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, business development, and client liaison experience
  • Excellent, innovative, and practical customer service and a commitment to technical excellence
  • Ability to solve problems, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and meet project deadlines

CIMA+ offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $145,000 based on experience and qualifications.
