Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to oversee the unloading and processing of merchandise at our Red Deer, AB location. As a key member of our receiving team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and efficient flow of products to the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct safety sweeps and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
  2. Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to optimize productivity.
  3. Unload and sort general merchandise trailers, and complete live unloading of other types of merchandise.
  4. Delegate and follow up on pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
  5. Assist in stocking, applying product protection, and binning overstock merchandise.
  6. Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates.
  7. Act as team lead, providing direction to CAP 2 Associates.
  8. Maintain cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving.

Requirements:

Age – 16 or older
