At North End Stop, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This is a permanent position offering 35 hours of work per week with the possibility of overtime.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can provide exceptional customer service while operating a cash register and handling money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for stocking shelves, cleaning the counter area, and greeting customers in a welcoming manner.

Responsibilities
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately using a cash register.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and sweeping/mopping floors as needed.
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about merchandise.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
