We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at Heat Tech Mechanical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layout
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors for pipe installation
  • Join pipes using various materials and equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
