As a Tile Setter Professional, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, align and straighten tiles, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs, cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite, estimate costs and materials, mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces, and install tile strips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles.
- Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Align and straighten tiles.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.

Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
- On-site work required, with no option to work remotely.
