About the Role:

Cobrafer Construction is seeking an experienced Skilled Tradesperson - Carpenter to join our team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson who can work independently and as part of a team to perform various carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitness and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads.
