About This Role

We're seeking a skilled Kitchen Designer to join our team at The Home Depot Canada. As a Kitchen Designer, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in kitchens and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify customers and execute kitchen design consultations to provide quotes and recommend product options.
  • Facilitate the smooth and efficient processing of kitchen department in-stock, custom orders, and installation sales until the project is completed to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Use strong customer relationship skills, superior product expertise, and advanced project knowledge to provide a differentiated experience that drives sales.
Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in computers and knowledge of design software (e.g. 20/20; AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Previous experience closing sales and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • 1-2+ years of experience working in a sales-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of construction and the ability to read blueprints and floor plans.
