Job Title: Software Engineer III

Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the Ads workflow and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Evaluate and integrate EA's live service solutions, studio tech stacks, and vendor solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead the development of key components of the Ads lifecycle, including ads network connection, ads marketplace, data exchange, funnel analysis, measurement, and reporting.
  • Utilize massive data sets from 20+ game studios to drive data-driven decision-making and experimentation.
  • Work with Game Studios, Experience, and Brand organizations to understand their use cases and develop end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and privacy directives.
  • Lead technical discussions and drive the design of specific domains.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Domain knowledge of the Ads industry, including the ads lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and running large-scale services with complex dependencies.
  • Competencies in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
  • Experience building distributed systems and working with multi-cloud architectures.
  • Experience working with online and offline databases, including columnar databases, relational databases, and document databases.
  • Experience working with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Flink, Presto, or other data streaming and processing systems.
  • Experience leading projects to deliver impactful customer experiences.
