Job Title: Pediatrician

Vitalité Health Network is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team at the Edmundston Regional Hospital in Northwest New Brunswick.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in our 12-bed pediatric unit. The Pediatrician will work with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a range of medical conditions, from routine check-ups to complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in our pediatric unit
  • Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, from routine check-ups to complex cases
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in teaching and education of students and residents in medicine
  • Meet the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New-Brunswick
Requirements:
  • Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate university degree in the field of specialization (Pediatrics)
  • Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New-Brunswick
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work
  • Good work history (performance and attendance)
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network
