We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, BC.
About the Job
As a Community Health Worker, you will work closely with Nurses and LPNs to provide home support services to clients, promoting their independence and ability to stay at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Perform household duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Prepare meals according to designated plans
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Home Support Worker Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry
- Current valid BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle
