Job Title: Merchandise Processing Manager

At Talize, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandise Processing Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of retail operations and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the merchandise processing department, ensuring efficient and effective processing of merchandise.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure team members are equipped to meet their responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the management team.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a retail warehouse environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise containers on wheels weighing up to 500lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to dust and periodic temperature fluctuations.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dust and periodic temperature fluctuations.
  • Work schedule hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Interaction with customers, clients, and the public at large.
