Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several activities and deadlines to gain a clearer picture of client, team, and project needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing project coordination and administrative support to the project team
- Ensuring open lines of communication among team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients
- Reviewing, interpreting, and updating construction schedules
- Maintaining, reviewing, and following up on shop drawings, RFI's, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents
- Collecting and analyzing project quotes to find the best prices in the market
- Collecting and completing company-wide project reports for assigned projects
- Being a role model for project-specific safety standards and promoting Pomerleau's HS&E programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years' experience in ICI construction
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience
- A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration
- A passion for providing exceptional client service
Additional Assets
Able to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability level clearance as per project contractual requirements.
