**Job Overview**

As a skilled Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Systems Specialist with electrical knowledge, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in building, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic systems on various heavy equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, build, and install hydraulic systems for heavy equipment according to specifications and requirements.
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic systems of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
  • Inspect and test hydraulic systems to identify malfunctions using diagnostic equipment, utilizing your strong problem-solving skills.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals, applying your proficiency in reading and interpreting complex diagrams.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of hydraulic components, collaborating with other technicians and departments.
  • Utilize basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical components related to hydraulic systems, demonstrating your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service and repair work performed, adhering to strict quality control standards.

**Qualifications & Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in hydraulics or a related field is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Hydraulics Technician or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in building hydraulic systems for heavy equipment is highly valued.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • A valid driver's license, enabling you to travel to different locations as required.
