Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and process merchandise from trailers and pallets, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt of goods.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including safety sweep logs and display fixture security.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in stocking the sales floor with merchandise, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas, maintaining a well-organized and efficient storage system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures would be beneficial.
