Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Determine the types of furniture and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, and analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations to improve profitability.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve problems and issues in a timely and professional manner.
