Handyman/Woman - Hotel Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Baymont by Wyndham. As a key member of our hotel maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of hotel equipment and fixtures
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
