Order Selector

Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Distribution Team as an Order Selector. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and assembling food orders for shipment, both manually and with a powered pallet truck
• Ensuring all orders are picked accurately and safely while maintaining production targets
• Performing general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Participating in continuous improvement activities to optimize our distribution processes
• Ensuring food safety and food defense standards are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Good attendance record and punctuality
• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced and physically demanding job (considered an asset)
• Experience using a Powered Pallet Truck and voice pick is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions
• Willingness to participate in ongoing development and to be cross-trained in various areas of Distribution
