We're seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Altair Engineering. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a crucial role in developing AI-powered engineering software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop infrastructure and data pipelines to harvest data from engineering simulations for high-performing machine learning models.
  • Collaborate closely with data science, engineering, and web development teams to productize new features for both desktop and cloud products.
  • Design and implement robust, modular code and unit tests.
  • Work with CAD and/or CAE tools and experience with data analytics/engineering.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with Git and comfortable in both Windows and Linux.
